Here we go again with these phony,fake,hypocritical...
Republicons who are pissing in their panties every few minutes talking about what Obama needs to do today when he and McCain meet to talk about religion and how it relates to being president. What they really want Warren to do is spend the whole time talking about Rev.Wright and other nonsense. They really want this election to be about religion and abortion.

I am so tired of hearing about abortion every election cycle, when they had the whitehouse, congress and the senate and the supreme court they did nothing about it they are so full of it. Most voters are not voting because of one issue anyway but they are trying to brainwash their followers as always to vote on one issue.

These are the same damn people who don't give a damn about these children once they are born but pretend as though they are so damned concerned. These are the same people who claim they care so much about life but don't give a damn about all of the lives that Bushco has taken with bombs and other policies. Some people may be concerned about these issues but when you don't have a job, home or can't pay your bills you tend to pay more attention to these issues.

Some people are so damn stupid that they can't think for themselves they have been hearing this same garbage every election cycle and they continue to fall for it...

1. Rick Warren is anti-abortion, but he acknowledged that being pro-life is more than that
He has said that being pro-life means looking out for a child after the baby is born too.

3. I think that Warren wants...
to ask the questions of McCain that are never asked and this is one of the main ones for him. I think that he also wants to get rid of this rumor about Obama being a muslim out in the open.

2. I doubt they really want this election to be about religion and abortion.
They get creamed if the election were to be a referendum about abortion rights, since the vast majority of Americans do NOT want Roe overturned, nor do they want to ban any but a few hyped, exotic, icky-sounding late term procedures.

But as you say, the polling indicates that most people aren't one-issue voters, that even if they are foolish enough to believe that criminalizing abortion will stop it, they're realistic enough to know that this isn't the only issue that ought to determine their votes.

And also, as you say, some people can't think for themselves. However, the bright spot is, it looks like more and more young evangelicals are thinking for themselves, and they are tired of being led by the old guard, obsessed with "protecting" marriage from their gay friends.

5. From what I can see the people who vote for mccain...
want more war, from his response in the past week you can see that he is stupid enough to cause us to become entangled in another war when they have already destroyed our troops..These people really believe that they can't fight and win any war. Gaffney and that tool who Bush put on in charge of the U.N. are continually on television talking about attacking Iran and now confronting Russia these people are insane..

6. What did I say earlier...
same old, same old and McCain did nothing but filibuster and gave his same old talking points from his stump speech. The republicons are happy because they were very afraid and Warren kept trying to interrupt Obama and let McCain ramble on and on.
