Clinton to appear with Obama in Espanola NM on Sunday (El Paso Times)

I'm reading that just from Google News -- I haven't had any luck getting the link below to open:

I'd heard earlier that she would be there, but don't recall hearing that he would. Another website that said she would be there and mentioned a fundraiser Richardson would also appear at

didn't say anything about Clinton appearing with Obama. (And that story had a few snide comments from Clinton-haters.)

1. Kicking -- and trying to verify this. No other newspaper has this story so far.

Obama will be in Nevada earlier in the day.

I'm having no luck accessing the El Paso Times website, have only the headline and link and the start of the article in Google News.

So I don't know whether the El Paso Times got this wrong -- misunderstood what was going on when Clinton will be there but Obama won't -- or whether this means Obama's added that appearance to his schedule. Which would be interesting...

5. You're welcome! I think this is very interesting, was beginning to wonder if anyone else here felt

the same way.

I've been trying to pin down the time of the town hall meeting that Obama will be appearing at tomorrow in Reno, but haven't been able to find that, just stories saying no time has been announced. I did turn up a story, when I checked Google News for keywords in this search, that had T. Boone Pickens quoted in the Aspen Daily News as saying that he'll be meeting with Obama in Reno at 9 AM tomorrow. So presumably the town hall is also in the morning, giving Obama plenty of time to get to Espanola by midafternoon...for a rally with Clinton that so far isn't getting much media attention.

7. The El Paso Times story said he would be. Again, I'm trying to confirm that.

He will be in Nevada tomorrow, and he's scheduled for a town hall meeting in Albuquerque Monday morning so he is going to New Mexico when he leaves Nevada. What I've found so far indicates his town hall meeting in Reno will most likely be tomorrow morning. So he has time to appear at that rally with Clinton in the afternoon.
