When will the Righties realize they got had...? Used and abused..like pawns on a chess board..
When will they realize they are working so hard to kill off the American Dream by backing a sick Philosophy of greed, arrogance, and self interst? Known as the GOP...

When will they grow SPINES and have the COURAGE to look at the CHANGE they are told to reject....to really look at Obamas Change for the Better ....rather than stay the course with Bushies Loser decisions...which will be McGeezers course as well.

When will they realize to be stuck on Misery and Negative is not all that healthy for the Nation? McClaim is a NEGATIVE DUDE...look at his evidence/history....

They often speak of Spines...when will the fREEPERS stand up for what is RIGHT, what is Better, what is GOOD? cause the GOP is not giving them any....they of the Negative Mode....Cynical really....

When will they see the light and make a shift to REASON and POSITIVITY??? It feels so much better than fuckin WAR and wasteful Spending....

Come, we go register to the DEM Party..makes sense

32. Once upon a time, a rat-fucker named rush limbaugh started whispering in their ears
and telling them all the dirty stuff they'd been feeling deep down - that they'd been ashamed of and reluctant to admit to in polite company - is really okay. It's really okay to think that blacks are taking your jobs and then loafing all day. It's really okay to think that the big problems in this country really got started when women won the right to vote. It's really okay to think that all welfare recipients are lazy moochers. Yeah! ALL of them!!! And those moochers are all out to take YOUR money!!!!

And as he did that, playing upon and exploiting their deepest, most embarrassing feelings of resentment and unfulfilled entitlement (whites are supposed to be on top all the time, right????), he also started telling them things like "YOU don't even HAVE to THINK! I'LL do the thinking FOR you!!!"

Hey! Just consider that. What a deal, 'eh? All that shit you're really not supposed to be thinking or believing (probably because it's A) a crock of shit, B) straight outta the 11th century, C) selfish and mean and Jesus said you weren't supposed to act that way) is actually - gasp! - OKAY! And not only that, but you don't even have to work at it! This big ass on the radio with the pompous wind-bag voice and imperious attitude says it's okay. And he says it SO well that he can do all my work for me and I MYSELF can be the lazy moocher that I hate everybody else for being. But for me, it's okay! "Anything you say, rush ol' buddy! FUCKIN'A!!! You speak for ME, dude!"

And when that shit spews every day, day after day after day, on hundreds of radio stations all over everywhere, spreading faster than the Black Death during the Middle Ages, eventually, that nonstop propaganda is gonna start sinking in and taking root.

ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE'S SO LITTLE ON THE AIR TO COUNTER IT!!!!! That's why one of the first and most evil of their moves was to lock up the communications systems. By deregulating broadcasting that made it easier for corporations to own more stations in the same market and build up huge monopolies everywhere, and by easing the restrictions on one-sided presentations (eliminating the Fairness Doctrine and Equal Time provisions), they built the infrastructure for all the rest of this to happen. Including limbaugh. Now, he could spew all over the place and they wouldn't be hassled by the annoyance of having to bring somebody else on with an opposing view anymore. Which is what they've wanted.

They wanted this because they NEED to restrict the dialogue so that only THEIR side can make its case without the nuisance of having the other side challenge or rebut. When the other side gets equal time, the bad guys know THEIR side will lose. So the thing to do is figure out the many ways in which you can limit, restrict, suppress, and distort any side other than yours. If your view is all the audience hears, soon enough the audience will make the assumption that yours is the ONLY side that exists - that there is no other side at all.

lives on the line during the Civil War to basically protect the wealth and lifestyle of the rich.

Their siding with the Republicans since the Reagan period allowed Republicanism to take root and ruin the Country for all but the wealthy.

Oboma's candidacy is an opportunity for the South to rejoin the Democratic Party, the Party that has consistently represented the best interests of all Americans to a much higher degree than the Republicans.

It would be ironic if the Southern African Americans along with the more educated liberals were the keys to a Democratic victory that would free the U.S. of the current Republican political bondage.

13. McCain is in contention because he is backed by the ruling
machine, a machine that has proven to be difficult to overcome. In order to win, Obama will have to overcome some big obstacles, not the least of which the media, which is simply the propaganda arm of the ones now in power.

20. Ultimately, the greatest damage done by the onslaught of Republicanism
will be to the psyches of the American people. Even if new reform Democratic regimes take and hold power of many years, the mental damage that has already been done will shape the behavior of generations.

A "tsunami" of mind warping has hit us all. I have no idea when it will end.

Enter computer games from Mario Bros to Dune, Descent and others 15 years ago till now its Gone Wild....a distraction of major proportions..

Then we have a 50%+ divorce rate and many 1 parent homes...leading to less real education absorbed....In this Realm, Ignorance is a Hugh Factor...

6. They won't. I had a debate with one and when I got him cornered
(and that was pretty easy) he told me what I needed to hear. We were debating the effects of Wal-Mart, sweatshops, jobs being shipped overseas and a few other things. When I finally got him to the point where he had no more defenses, his typical and ultimately Republican response was "I just don't care, if it takes a third world country's children to work in sweatshops to make Wal-Marts "low prices" then so be it. I really feel nothing for them." And that is it in a nutshell. The Republican core values aren't marriage and family they are greed and selfishness. You can't convince them they are wrong. They know they are assholes, they just don't give a shit.

14. Reminds me of the people
in Highland Park (bush's real Texas home and a republican millionaire enclave) who used to love to go to a burger joint where the owner insulted them, threw food and drinks at them, and refused to get their order right. He would laugh at them and throw them out of they complained. The food was very mediocre, but these guys just loved it. They had no taste so they figured that people who abused them were better than they were. It was hilarious but they either never got it or would never admit they had been had.

Highland Park is the little city that the millionaires carved out of Dallas. it sits right in the middle and controls most of what happens in Dallas, but it is it's own little town.

That's asking a lot.

They could give a crap about ANYTHING other than the near-term condition of themselves and MAYBE their kin.

These are the same people that will tell you that their grandchildren will need to buck up and deal with whatever crap they are stuck with.

As always there are three kinds of Republicans-Stupid, evil, and recovering.

24. Influence of RW talk radio and Fauxnews has destroyed critical thinking skills
enough to deflect anger away from the government and redirected it toward at 'libruls and gays'. It is much easier to hate someone close to you who is different than some abstract entity far away who is controlling the economy and laws.

The key is for these people to have a personal experience that shows them that the common citizen cannot possibly be as influential as the power elite, but as long as they are being fed fear based religious dogma they assume to be truth and Gods word, and are addicted to RW talking points, there will always be some people who will refuse to awaken to the reality around them.

These people need to hang onto their anger, but not allow the fear based dogma to distort who they need to be angry at. Just my 2 cents.

and they're OK with 'paying their dues' because they figure standing with the GOP will allow them entre into the top 1% ... also these people have a scapegoat mentality anyway, so its easy for them to blame someone else.

And they can't admit the "libs" were right and they were so foolish for so long.
