CHALLENGE- Deconstruct Hillary's Quote & Rework It To Hurt McCain & Help Obama
Edited on Sat Aug-09-08 06:36 PM by cryingshame
PLEASE don't do the "I told you so" in this thread!

I am just wondering if any fellow know-it-all, creative-type DU'ers can find a way to rework Hillary's comment and turn it into a positive.

My own idea is sort of like "after a lifetime of experience in the Senate, John McCain doesn't seem to know where he stands on issues, He's reversed positions so often".

YOUR TURN!

In the new ad released by the Republicans, Clinton is shown saying: "I know Senator McCain has a lifetime of experience that he will bring to the White House and Senator Obama has a speech that he gave in 2002."

13. Thanks - that one seemed more helpful to Obama than this one:
After a lifetime of experience in the Senate, John McCain's head is now so far up his ass it has to be surgically extracted.

5. "McCain has a lifetime of experience . . .
Edited on Sat Aug-09-08 06:44 PM by MrModerate
Like dumping his injured wife, colluding with savings & loan execs to cheat depositors, viciously denying the rights of gay Americans, kowtowing to religious extremists, abandoning his "principles" for short-term gain, and being buddy-buddy with the most disastrous presidential administration in the last hundred years -- and *that's* the experience he'd bring to the White House.

While Obama has inspired millions of Americans to seek change in the system that will benefit us all and won the respect of partner nations around the world -- which is what *he'd* bring to the White House.

Which do you want?"

Not bumper sticker material, but sound-bitey.

For bumper sticker purposes: "McCain: Experience you can be terrified of"

6. I'm finding it hard to what your asking, mainly because it was the final straw that made me side
wit Obama. I was like, HRC's camp is scary at best and I'm tired of those politics.

7. My try
John McCain has brought a lifetime of experience but since that lifetime is near it's end, we need someone who can inspire the nation, lead it forward rather than us having to pay to bury the old asshole with an expensive state funeral and then have to live under whatever clown he picks for VP! Now that, my friends, saves us valuable tax dollars.
