Just wondering
Has anyone on here seen Obama in person. If so, can you tell me what he's like; really like. Do the cameras do well by him. Is he as handsome as he seems on camera? Charisma?

I read someone's comment on meeting Bill Clinton up close and personal and how charismatic he was... or was it mesmorizing... Tell me about Obama..

I'll probably never see him in person (although I want to) I just do door to door stuff for him, helping in any way I can...but have never met him.

1. He's handsome but not as tall as he seems in photos.

2. I'm so glad you asked. And got me at a time when I feel chatty.
I have a black long time friend of 25 years, a member of what I call the black side of my family.

(to clarify, I am a European naturalized immigrant, no blacks in my family, but this man and all his family have become the black branch of my adopted American family)

He, for reasons I cannot disclose, became close to Oprah and others in the inner circles of Black Aristocracy so he got to be real close and personal with Sen.Obama.

He was in SC for the huge rally that Oprah gave there, in a stadium. Remember that?

He said:
"The man is awesome. He is a black man. He is a gorgeous man. He has charisma to sell. He looks so much better in person than what comes through on TV that real vs. the screen is pitiful. He is alive. He is agile. He moves like a panther.

And, even though I have met Hillary, spent time with her and drank with her, and would have owed her, and love her, Obama became my choice the minute I saw and felt his power."

3. I've seen and met Barack Obama several times...mostly in Iowa
I saw Obama speak many times and it is electric to see him speak. If you see him up close, he's handsome and you can tell he's a nice guy. He is very quick and knows how to talk to all kinds of people. He handles large crowds with an ease that is surely a skill. Hopefully, you'll get a chance to see him in person.

On that note, I've seen John Kerry up close as well. Believe it or not, he is also a very genuine person. I met Bill Clinton once and, as many have said, he knows how to make you feel like you're the only person in the room when he's talking to you.
