6. Did he lie about it during a campaign for president...
did McCain use campaign funds to give his mistress a 6 figure paycheck for a job she wasn't qualified for?

This isn't' a road dems should be going down. We need to ignore the Edwards story not try to score political points out of it.

16. That's my point.
All affairs is between all of the people involved. Apparently, Elisabeth has known about it since 2006. If is okay with her, it should be okay with us. Just like the situation with McCain and his first wife.

23. I just heard on CNN that Elizabeth has know about it since 2006.
Now, I am using the info that CNN had just provided. I was thinking that when she found out about it, it ended. But, it rekindled when he went to her hotel room.

I also heard that the baby belongs to Andrew Young. No, not that Andrew Young!

7. The problem with this is that his first wife supporters McCain's Presidential bid. It could look
callous to drag this woman into the political spotlight and re-open old wounds just for political purposes. The point is, it could backfire.

18. Anything said negative against McCain personally will backfire.
I was just trying to point out that if all of the parties involved in the situation, whether they are the cheater or cheatee, that should be between them.

25. Yes, McCain is complete scum.
I don't have a double-standard here.

And in case you are wondering if I am a freeper in disguise (I'm not), I have been absolutely horrified by Bush's presidency. Another republican win has the potential to push our country beyond the point of no return. I truly believe this.

22. There is no excuse!
But, beneath his cloths, his title, and his money one have to remember, he is a man. He is still liable to make a mistake hea eand there. He will have choices in life. It is up to him to travel do the correct road. And to hold him to a hire standard than the average person is wrong.

John Edwards cheating on his wife is just as wrong as John McCain cheating on his. But, neither affairs should be that much our concern, especially if all parties involved have gotten over it.
