So let's see if I have this straight.....
...oil prices are falling like an anvil, which means there was no shortage due to demand, which means there was only rampant speculation, which means that the whole $150/barrel crap was a croc, which means that this is Big Oil's last final orgy before an Obama presidency.

And the only way they get Senator Angry Old Prick elected is to put the people back into their somulent stupors?

Do I have that about right? Do they think we're that stupid?

These worthless, motherfucking, c*******ing c***s need to spend mucho time in a crowbar motel in GP.

1. Or they're willing to take lower profits for a short time in order to...
...help Republicans, who will in turn help them.

3. Yep. And I'm sure you realized all of that all along, didn't you?
They are nothing if not predictable in their criminality.

4. The essence of science
is the ability to use a model to make useful predictions about what happens when certain conditions are achieved.

Well, most of us here predicted this was going to happen because we have a certain model for the relationships between big capital and the Bushista administration in particular and government in general.

Once again, that model has produced a useful prediction.

We know what is going on, so we have a pretty good idea of what will happen. Now all we have to do is help our fellow citizens to get it.

5. Yeah, everybody finally realized that there was no oil shortage
That all orders were being met, and US refineries are running at less than 100% capacity. They just had to bend the US consumer over the table one final time before having to invest in a McCain presidency by letting oil prices drop.

7. But when oil prices stay relatively low until November...
...we'll be told that tht has absolutely nothing to do with Republican politics.
