All last week everyone was demanding Obama do this or that, already throwing dirt on his grave and giving up.

Then the polls began to change, again. Obama built a solid lead in Gallup, again. The AP released its poll, showing Obama up, again. Obama hit McCain, again. Obama is doing better among women than many thought he would be. Obama is doing better among whites than Kerry and Gore the past two elections. Working class voters support him, too. Oh and there is that whole electoral college thing I keep hearing about...that evidently Obama is winning too.

I'm sure there will be a moment this week, or next or even later this month were everyone freaks out. I just ask you at least wait until you know what is going on before doing so. Last week's freak out by DUers was unfortunate and ugly and what was it for? Nothin'.

1. Thank you. I was wondering why there was a weird sudden rush

of threads calling for Hillary on the ticket because Obama wasn't doing anything, or he'd proven that he wasn't up to fighting off the attacks, and at least she'd be fighting off McCain by now (presumably after she finished praising his lifetime of experience).

:wtf:

One week of McCain ad coverage and people are running in circles in a panic? I hope it's not that way outside the interwebs.

2. Yeah, the 'Obama is a wuss' crowd seems to have dissipated.
I guess they're off looking for something else to complain about.

5. 309 - 229
for Obama, even with McCain winning a majority of undecideds. My EV scorecard numbers haven't changed for weeks. I run a three poll moving average and project undecideds based on rasmussen's published leaners. For comparison, I also run Nate's regression for predicting the November 4 margin to calculate which way the undecideds will go -- Only a 2% difference between the projected undecided outcomes.
