Have MI and OH suffered enough?
Edited on Tue Aug-05-08 10:44 AM by freesqueeze
I was floored in '04 when Ohio went for Bush, after they had suffered so much from his failed economic policies. I couldn't understand how that state could vote for another round of swift kicks to their economic groins (but that's just what they did).

This morning, on NPR, they were reading emails from listeners about how they are suffering in this Bush economy and the first three emails were from OH and MI. Have they finally had enough? Will the desire to try another economic approach trump married gay people, immigrants or speculative terrorist threats?

OH and MI, I have put the past behind me, but can anyone tell me (please) those hard hit areas have had enough of GOPolicies in the White House?

13. Believe what you want....
However, I saw firsthand when polls were still open at midnight with people wrapped around buildings waiting to vote when the MSM called it for Bush.

5. I would be in denial too about my state...
if it wasn't so obviously blindly retardican.

MI - voted Kerry in '04
OH - voted Bush in '04

They both were pretty close but how can anyone continue to support republicans in those states?

6. The bigots would rather continue to suffer than vote for a black man who is far more
equipped to be POTUS! Their hatred of gays put Dumbya over the top in 2004; their hatred of dark-skinned Americans will put McSame over the top in 2008. :puke::puke:

NOTE: Yes, the elections were stolen in 2004, but the fact that it was even close is a testament to the fact that this country still has a long way before it can get beyond its legacy of racism.

7. My state went to Kerry....
And we re-elected a dem govenor during this patch of time we've been suffering. So Michigan never wanted 'GOPolicies' to begin with.
As far as i'm concerned, Ohio DID go blue......

11. went blue for governer?!?
that's your defense? Don't get me wrong but the rest of the country is counting on these long suffering purple states to reject the GOP in '08.

My state is a lost cause but the rest of you must save us before we commit hari kari.

9. People continue to vote against their own best interest. When you do that, you get what you vote for
Apparently people in OH still haven't had enough of their factories being closed?
