According to Hardball, McCain isn't fit to be President.
Okay....what I'm reading on the Harball threads tonight is that the guest bloviators were saying how McCain isn't to blame for the lies his ad campaign is spreading about BHO. It's all the fault of his campaign aides--McCain doesn't actually know what they're doing. He couldn't, because he would never attack anyone unfairly.....he's too good and pure for that type of thing. He hates to attack, blah, blah, blah. Even though, at the end of each ad, he states clearly "I'm John McCain, and I approved this message".

Do they really want to run with this? If McCain can't control his own campaign, how is he fit to be President? How can he control the Executive Branch, much less the free world? I wonder if they intended to make him look like the doddering old fool he is. They would rather paint him out to be an oblivious idiot than admit what an evil, greedy, small, and mean spirited liar they have worshipped all these years.

Just shoot me now.

1. I watched the show with disbelief. In going out of their way to "defend" McCain by claiming he's

"in a bubble" and wouldn't approve any of what his campaign has been putting out there because he's such an "honorable" man, they made him look like an incompetent, clueless, out-of-the-loop politician who is shielded from the facts (like Bush's twin). McCain not only approved those ads, he was asked about them and said he was PROUD of them. Why do all the people in the media say anything to try to defend this guy? He is NOT who they thought he used to be. It's disgusting how they cover for him and he has no business being president.

2. Isn't this exactly the defense offered for Reagan for Iran-Contra,
and probably other stuff, too? Of course, anyone could tell that meant he was either dishonest or incompetent, but somehow we were told he was just a nice old man who shouldn't be bothered. Unfortunately, I fear our Pravda-loke press will come to the same conclusion here for McCrank.

11. BUSH !!!
What they were saying sounded almost verbatim, what the media has been saying about the Disaster in Chief for 6 years now ...

THAT is how pathetic these tools are in relation to republicans ... NOT A SINGLE WORD about how this "assessment" is the EXACT same thing that has been one of the most glaring issues with the worst president this country has ever seen ...

But, all it takes is one retarted GOP propogandist to say BO is like Bush for some meandering reason, and they will spend an 15 minute segment talking about how BO shares Bush's negative traits ...

3. If they admit he's a vindictive asshole,
they admit they were foolish dupes to have never seen it. They can never admit that, oh no!

5. I don't think that's true. I think they could/should just call it like it is-
the McCain of 2008 is NOT the McCain of 2000. He has embraced all the people and tactics he despised in 2000 (or claimed to despise).

6. But most of them won't.
As Chris Matthews said, the media is McCain's "base". They created the myth, they will continue to embellish it. They are blind where McCain is concerned; I would say, willfully blind.

7. But isn't he now shutting out the press? The media WAS his base. They better wake up and realize
he changed.

8. right on
they loved McCain because he was mean to the crazy right wing republicans. Now when he does the same thing to an innocent, they protect him because they can't admit how they were bought off for a couple of donuts.

These people think they have judgment.

Yeah, right.

9. McCain isn't fit to be a Senator, let alone the President!!
You have to be a total racist moron to back this guy.
Last week McCain supported Arizona state's position against affirmative action in their legal battle against it.

WTF?

During a national presidential campaign?
Are you kidding me?

If any black man or woman votes for McCain, there is no doubt in my mind they don't know what a racist piece of shit McCain really and truly is.

10. I think most of us know by now..
that the fascists' mission is to lie, smear, fear, and lie some more.

What would happen if all the Democrats who the m$m are constantly insulting would just turn them off?

13. I hope the media starts talking more like that. It was stunning and probably true
I do no think McClown has any control of his campaign and is literally being bullied like an elderly woman being terrorized by a con-artist insurance agent.
