I work late hours so I TiVo them. Should I skip them (as I do many Sunday shows lately) or will Rachael make up for the shit the others throw?

10. Oh, ferKisssakes. Thanks for the warning--if I'd heard that from Gregory
I'd have barfed up my small intestine. Thanks for taking one for the team and the warning, WD.

3. I turned my TeeVee off when Race to the White House begin.....
and I'm glad I did.

C-Span will be broadcasting Obama's energy speech from today at 8:00 p.m. eastern time.....same time that KO comes on. You should TiVo one of them....as I am sure both of those will be worth watching.

7. Ack, Usual suspects is on then too! Thanks all for the advice about Race for the WH
don't know what happened to David Gregory. He got where he is by being a star asking Bush tough questions. Now he's in love with McCain.

I'm beginning to think there is either a whole lot of Cowboy envy in the US or more man love than I thought. What's with these pundits and their lust for the manly men? Jealousy? I don't get it.

11. What I think happened to David Gregory
Edited on Mon Aug-04-08 06:43 PM by ocelot
was that he got totally co-opted. When he was just a member of the White House press corps he was sometimes pretty good -- one of the few who would occasionally ask a pointed question or two. But then he became successful, more high profile, more attention paid to him, got chummy with the insiders and the Bushies, got to "dance" with Rove at the Correspondents' Dinner, got to be a made man. One of the cool kids. Now he has to keep fellating the powers that be if he wants to keep his position as a major leaguer. Sad...

4. Pundits on Hardball think that
the negative attacks are not McCain's fault. He is being misled by his advisors. He is too busy (with his one campaign event today) to keep track of what Obama says. McCain hates negative attacks. All three pundits agreed to that. Tells you what the media talking points of the day were. Pathetic. As someone posted earlier if he did not like negative attacks why did he say he was proud of the Paris/Britney ad?

8. isn't that what Bush has been for 8 years? Out of touch with what Cheney and Rummy were up to?
not a good recommendation for a president.

What is WRONG with these people.

This is EXACTLY what McCain has been his whole life. He is hated by the republicans because he was mean and nasty to them all these years. The pundits see that as showing character.

I'm sick of this election already but I can't stay away.

5. I've had MSNBC running in the background
but I've paid very little attention. I haven't noticed anything REALLY annoying, but if I'd been watching attentively I might feel differently.

13. if you were starving, and had to dig through a huge pile of horseshit to
find a few kernels of corn, you'd feel the same after watching any of these shows, because that's what they're like every day

scuse me, I have to go floss

15. Even at its worst, it still beats CNN
and there is always KO to look forward to. Meanwhile, I treat the rest with a passing glance though I really enjoy Rachel.

Interesting analogy!
