California Polls - What Is This About?

The cynic in me would suggest that it has something to do with Accuvote TSX getting certification... is there any rational reason for a seven point swing to Bush in the last couple of weeks?

1. It doesn't match

with other polls. No way Bush is that close in CA

Ignore the SUSA poll and don't both with electoral-vote.com .

Kerry will carry the state by at least 10 points. Hopefully Bush will waste money on the state.

BTW, there is simply no way to connect different points from different polls and make a coherent graph. Polling just doesn't work that way.

3. We have already debunked that poll fifty times.

It polled more Republicans than Democrats and that is ridiculous because CA has Democrats with a nine point party affiliation edge. Hence bunk. End of story. Case closed. No other poll matches it. Good night.

that we just looooooooove religious extremist, warmongering pro-lifers. Hmmm. August just does that to us.

I hear Bush is polling somewhere around 75-80% in San Francisco. They're building a giant statue of him in the Castro. Just last weekend, over 4,000 previously flamingly gay men turned their lives over to Jesus under a big banner saying "We Changed Our Mind- WE LOVE BUSH!"

In other news, pigs flew out of my butt, and I won the lottery twice.

You know, for all the "odd" CA-bashing that some people seem to be wont to engage in (because of..I dunno... Jealousy, perhaps?) I've yet to find one single Democrat who doesn't want our 55 Electoral Votes come November.
