$57,000 from Queens

Greg Sargent finds a middle class Queens couple, one of whom works for a Hess executive, who joined a large number of Hess execs family members and executives in maxing out to the RNC, in this case giving $57,000.

Which, while hardly proof of anything, looks a bit odd. But they quite clearly say it was their money and, as in some of the Chinese-Americans who gave to Clinton, people really do sometimes give more than you'd think they could afford. (Those numbers were, though, much smaller.)
