4. There are offices opening up in IN. I think the Obama/Bayh crap is too obvious
They are throwing all of us off. It won't be Bayh.

5. The Obama campaign just opened an office here in TH.
Guess I'd better get down there and see what's going on.

6. RE: possible VP pick
...it isn't going to be Bayh.

The Obama campaign is in no way transparent.

7. obviously Obama doesn't read DU
because most of what he has done or people who have been leaked as being possible VP's aren't exactly going over well. But my guess is that Obama thinks (if he does pick Bayh) that it will take more than the progressive left to win the election.

8. I think your guess is correct.
And I think Obama is right in thinking that.

9. Just because Obama announces in IN doesn't necessarily mean it will be someone FROM IN
where did Kerry select Edwards at? Was it NC? I am not sure.

16. Great choice! Obama/Bayh 2008 !!
Edited on Mon Aug-04-08 04:52 PM by trewsx11
After doing extensive research on all the top candidates for veep, I like Bayh and Sebelius, and either one I'd be happy. Although I think Sebelius is a bit risky and interjects more un-needed race and gender politics in a race already tarred by identity politics.

Although I am very skeptical of this "announcement" on Wednesday. I think Obama will announce after his vacation in Hawaii on Monday August 18, and it could be anyone.
