If reporters had tenure like university professors do, then whatever liberal views they have might come through. Instead, going against the party line is career suicide. Professors can wear ponytails. Reporters wear blazer and tie. Even the big names get millions by having a show that they don't want to lose, and medium tier reporters have appointments in right-wing funded think tanks that make life very easy and they don't want to risk that. Anyway, just because someone who's part of the crime syndicate tells us there's no crime syndicate, doesn't mean there's no crime syndicate.
