1. Next up: Show McCain as the tool of insurance companies that he is.

2. Side note... know what I love about these ads by both candidates?

Every McCain ad only shows pictures of McCain with the left-side of his face hidden.

Every Obama ad only shows pictures of McCain with the left-side of his face shown.

Why?

That's where McCain has the deformity caused by his skin cancer.

3. Kick his ass, Barack!
No more taking a punch and complaining that the other guy is punching you. The only acceptable response is to punch back.

5. Good punch back while staying on message.

I'm glad to see Obama use the line "A president who will stand up for you" in this ad. It's the same sort of statement Hillary made in nearly every speech during the latter part of the primary, "I will fight for you". It was very effective.

6. He wins on the issue big time - and doesn't need to cave on offshore drilling.

18. Actually Pelosi did the right thing by walking out on them without a vote...
...on offshore drilling ~ and then Obama caved on the same day.

9. Oh how I love DU
When he wasn't going negative and criticizing McCain for going negative, we all thought that was great for him taking the high road.

When he finally decides to run a negative ad, we all now believe that it's a great ad and it's about time he started fighting back! :D

Not that I'm criticizing Senator Obama. It's about time he started running ads like these. There is an enormous buffet of things he could run negative ads on regarding McCain. I hope ads like these continue.

12. Pointing out facts
and differences with your opponent isn't a negative ad. Running ads questioning motives, patriotism, and comparing your opponent to ditzy blonds is negative campaigning.

13. Err...yes it is negative
It's not MUD-SLINGING like what McCain has been engaged in, but that doesn't mean it's not negative.

Again though, I don't care, I'm glad he's finally starting to do this.

11. Oh, so that's what it looks like
when you stick to the issues, hold your campaign to a higher standard, and have a respectful campaign. McSellout should take some notes.

16. Now, Who's Holding Their Breath Regarding Whether Big Media Plays It For Free?
For example, Fox News certainly does not agree with the Ad. Yet, unlike McCain's ads, I doubt that Hannity and Combs will devote an entire show to "analyzing" the ad, which involves playing and replaying the ad with the pundits slavisly repeating the ads talking points.

Nice ad. On the issues. Hits at McCain. However, ads alone are not going to win this, because Big Media like Big Oil, is supporting the GOP.
