My girlfriend wants to fly out there and try to get in, but we're wondering what the process is and if it's even worth it.

I told her she should go anyway, because she's never seen Denver and I will be at a college football game that night.

Any info would be appreciated.

1. I am driving out to Denver from Los Angeles...
Going with a friend and we are trying to get tickets. So far the campaign/organizers are "working it out" and the priority is to distribute to the local Denver and Colorado residents. You can also make a donation (as little as $5) to get into a lottery to get backstage passes (go to Obama's site). Also, you can sign up to be emailed when tickets are going to be available on Obama's site and the DNC site. I have some delegate friends that - so far - dont have any other information.

Good luck and I hope to see you there!

5. Some of Us Will
be getting together for a beverage possibly. If you're interested, we'll coordinate as it gets closer to the convention. I live here, can't wait to go hang downtown and do some people watching - MSNBC will have their booth set up outside Union Station, Daily Show is at Denver University.

3. Invesco holds 78 thousand plus...
I'm hoping it's standing room only, and there is another 25 thousand outside partying like the Broncos just won a playoff game.

That house is going to rock.

4. Here's The Info I Have
A friend of mine who is doing lots of training and volunteering sent me this. I live in Denver, so I would check with your local Obama office or local Dem office.

Volunteers(from every state) will be given "priority seating" and that to qualify for the priority seating, you have to do complete two shifts of voter-contact type volunteering, e.g. voter registration, calling, canvassing. If you are coordinating with an Obama fellow and have done 2 shifts, then you should be included in the priority seating. She also said that an announcement will be made this week.

Check back into the DCCC site also. http://www.demconvention.com/

6. I think the fact that they are putting restrictions on the tickets is a very good sign
