Never have I seen such a horribly biased media press against one candidate. I thought their treatment of Gore was bad. I thought their treatment of Kerry was bad. I could not have imagined the treatment that Obama has gotten. Crusty old white men getting a license to crap on him day after day after day.

I caught a total of ten minutes of the Sunday shows and, as I had fully expected, saw each and every set of flapping gums take shot after shot. My favorite, "serious" turd sniffer, David Brooks, declaring Obama's campaign a cult. Mr. Brooks, just a little thoughtfulness and originality could go a long way.

This is absolutely revolting. And I write this as a voter who is not a huge fan of Barack Obama, but merely as someone who sees him as an agent of change.

1. The media is doing more to energize the Democratic base....
Those who were unhappy about the Primary results are more likely to vote for/work for Obama now. This will come back to bite the Republicans in the ass.

Read my "comment" that I've had a variation of since I started here in late Sept 2002.

"I want to see all the treasonous m$$$mwhores and the lying dinos exposed to The People for what they are..Dividers who are in it only for their bottom line. You've had a bad run, suckers."

Without them there would have been no bush or the War on Iraq.

And, I am a huge fan of Barack Obama as I am Gore, Dean, Kerry and all the rest of the anti-fascists.

4. Revolting is right.
I am a huge fan of Obama (although I didn't start out that way) and find it unconscionable that the media drummed away at Paris/Brittney ALL F&#@%ing week last week, therby avoiding all substantive issues entirely. :kick:

5. When Obama wins
2008 will probably be my last Democratic vote after 34 years of nearly straight ticket voting. For now, it is too important to not vote for Barack and besides I really like the idea of casting a vote for the first black president. But I am fed up with the "keeping our powder dry" congress. If they fail to hold any of the * administration accountable, I don't think I can vote for them again. It breaks my heart too much.
I can't see myself voting Green and I would rather choke to death before voting for a repuke so my only alternative will be to write in the name of a Democratic Congressperson that I admire and there are still quite a few. I live in Indiana but I'll write in the name of Ted Kennedy or Russ Feingold. Paul Wellstone is dead but I don't think he will mind. John Conyers used to be on that list but I am not too fond of him after 2006.

6. I had a dream about the election last night.
McCain was just giving his victory speech and as the dream ended, they were cutting to a smiling but rueful Obama for his concession. Inside the dream, I felt sick to the stomach. It was quite a bizarre feeling.

7. Bizarre, I agree.
The fact that you are dreaming about something that won't happen is considered a good sign.

Usually, when interpreting dreams, the true meaning has nothing to do with the obvious in that same dream.
