Who agrees that an Obama victory will be the sweetest victory yet?
Is it just me, or has our opposition been more downright racist, arrogant, stupid and condescending than ever before? Just think of the people who will go down in crushing, humiliating and well-deserved defeat: The RW talk radio hate machine, the PUMA Dixiecrats, racist people of all types, the religious right, Ann Coulter, etc..all down in crushing defeat!! It's going to be close, and bigotry and hatred tend to do well at the polls, but I do believe we can win this. And how sweet it will be!

3. I have been there for every Democratic win since JFK and yes, this
is going to be the sweetest. It is the fulfillment of the dreams of the 60s. We will have overcome. That is not to say that there is peace and prosperity for all but we have taken one big step if we are victorious.

6. Right up there with the Alamo
Er.. the American Revolution, I mean. And the Civil war. We did win that one, right? Talking with some people out in the wider world, I seem to forget how that one turned out.

Its going to be nice to win this time around.
