I don't like what's going on...
Edited on Thu Jul-31-08 07:08 AM by PCIntern
Smarmy morning Joe's meme - and he's not original, just spewing mcCain/rethug blast faxes, is saying how close this Presidential race is is and SHUSTER 9who's becoming a real putz as is Milbank) just said that pollsters are not getting 'honest' answers.

This is a big set-up and we're in trouble...we have to get this out there and hammer away at the disingenuous statements (read: lying) of the MSM who are the minions of the Rethug campaign. all this is going on while more and more comes out about stolen elections...

This has to be Priority #1.

1. The best way to get their attention is to not pay attention
Simply put, don't watch.
MSNBC may not read your emails but their sure do read their ratings.
When you watch these shows you are putting advertiser dollars into their pockets.
No ratings.. no dollars.. no more soapboxes for weasels like Joe Scarborough.
Everyday I don't watch Mourning Joe is another satisfying F-U to the rightwing.

Try it, it feels wonderful and it's a much sweeter way to start your day. : - ))))

2. The one thing he said this morning that rings true is that
McCain and his people have made a decision to go extremely negative based on a realization that he can't win. We are only in trouble if we do not address this negative crap. I agree with you wholeheartedly. I also think Obama is smart by giving McCain enough rope to hang himself with. Addressing the lies is important. Calling the media out will also be important but we also need to drive home that if people fall for this BS again, they will get more of the same--McSame.

4. We need to do this anyway
I've never watched this Morning Joe program, and never intend to. But I do talk to people, one on one. I listen to their concerns, and then suggest remedies--for those willing to vote Democratic, it is, of course, Obama. But where I live I also know that there are some who would not vote for a black man or a liberal--and them I'm steering towards Bob Barr.

Important for us to LISTEN to others one on one. This is how Obama will get votes--by us talking to people.
