Factcheck.org nails McCain ad.
A new McCain ad says Obama "made time to go to the gym, but canceled a visit with wounded troops. Seems the Pentagon wouldn't allow him to bring cameras."

McCain's facts are literally true, but his insinuation – that the visit was canceled because of the press ban or the desire for gym time – is false. In fact, Obama visited wounded troops earlier – without cameras or press – both in the U.S. and Iraq. And his gym workouts are a daily routine.

2. You have to hate when facts get in the way.
Once again, does McCain's people not think that someone is going to investigate the claims? I'm sure the do but the ignorant followers of McCain will believe it anyway. :eyes:

4. It doesn't matter that someone investigates.
The tactic of the big lie is that people hear or see it. They may not see a debunking. Even if they do, they must choose what to believe. And research has shown that even if they believe the debunking, in the long run they may only remember the lie, especially if it has been often repeated.
