I think they're cooking up something. I think a VP choice could be looming folks!

http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/

"Obama departed Reagan-National Airport in DC 10 minutes ago en route to his economic event.

It's worth noting that campaign manager David Plouffe is traveling with the candidate today (which I understand has happened only a handful of times so far this campaign). He's joining David Axelrod and Robert Gibbs for the DC trip.

As I noted Friday, Caroline Kennedy is in Washington or a DNC Victory Fund event. Eric Holder, the other VP search team leader, is based in DC.

The convergence of all the senior staff here with that search committee only further signals that the process is at a critical stage. The campaign, of course, is not commenting on it."

4. Axelrod, Gibbs and Plouffe....
Political geniuses, all of them. If Obama fills his cabinet the way he's staffed his campaign its going to be a beautiful 8 years.

5. I heard that back when they were putting the team together
there was one prerequisite:
we don't want any assholes.

their fair play, clean fighting has been great to see and better yet great to know that good guys can come in first and not have to resort to what some of the others do.

There will be tons of books on this group which I will look forward to.

9. Its blows my mind to see that they've been able to
take the high road and still end up ahead. And they're absorbing all these negative personal attacks by McCain without 1) responding negatively or 2) taking a hit in the polls.

Seriously. McCrazys camp is already using October style tactics ala HRC at the end of the primary race. Meanwhile Camp Obama has yet to launch a single seriously negative ad.

What the Obama campaign has accomplished is incredible to say the least. They've overcome every major hurdle thats presented itself thus far. Break it down. 1. He's black. 2. His middle name is Hussein. 3. He's in his first term as a US Senator. 4. He went up against the most powerful Democratic Duo that (probably) ever existed.... and won.

Barack Obama is a genius. He surrounds himself with geniuses.

I cant wait to read the camps books... but even more I look forward to Obamas 3rd book on having been president!
