1. This makes me feel really good; many good economic minds
working together sounds terrific. And O'Neill? I think he's a nice touch myself.

4. O'Neill is awesome! The only Repuke who was fired earlier on for
speaking truth to power. He knows all about the Boosh's cozy 30-year relationship with the Saudis!!

6. Is Joe Stiglitz Sitting This One Out? He Was On Fareed's Showing...
Speaking supportively of Obama's policies. He has also appeared at other Obama events. I would expect him to be there.

2. It's really a bipartisan group.
Obama will be closing out McWhine on economic issues soon, I predict.

9. I hope there's a lively & spirited discussion. Some consensus, some disagreements
like adults usually manage when they convene.

3. It bothers me that there is Only 1 labor representative.
A ton of CEOs but only one labor representative on his summit. They should be of equal numbers if Obama really cared about the average working Joe.

5. Two, actually.
SEIU and AFL-CIO.

That is exactly two more than McCain would have.

That seems about right to me, to have union reps at the table, but there doesn't need to be equal numbers.

If he's holding a labor summit, then maybe the majority will be from labor.

I'm not bothered.

7. Isn't Robert Reich Sympathetic, Too?
I seem to recall that Robert Reich was derided as being too liberal on labor matters.

10. Yes, you're right, I missed him.
That's a good group.

Did you catch Reich on the Daily Show when John asked who he supported during the primary, around Easter time?

8. Impressive group. McCain will be working on a new ad.
Obviously, he doesn't have many to draw from for advice, since the Bush Era has decimated our economy.
