John McCain called me this morning.
He wanted to get my take on his veep choice. I heard Cindy in the background, Saran-wrapping the left-over take-home sauerkraut from the German restaurant yesterday there in Columbus. McCain came right to the point and asked me who he should choose for the vice presidential ticket. I told him to choose Franklin Graham. He said he'd consider it.

I thought I smelled feces, an old wafting around in the air...

6. There's a report that McCain was in Columbus, but I have a feeling
he drew fewer people at the German restaurant than Obama drew in Germany.

19. I'd be afraid that Republican toxicity would leak thru and
contaminate all the other food, though. Call me a worry-wort. - - - - :hi:
