The GOP corporate masters know they can't sell their straight, undiluted Limbaugh-esque bull-crap to the American voter anymore.

So they've nominated their one best hope: the Senator who has spent years burnishing a phony "maverick" and/or "moderate" image, even when he supports the GOP line 90% of the time from the start, and caves in in the end on all his 10% "maverick" show-boat stances.

McBush the "maverick" or "moderate" is just the 2008 version of the phony and outworm circa 2000 "Compassionate Conservative" baloney.
