LOL! My husband neatly handled an "Obama is a Muslim" rumor monger.

Hubby stopped at a local restaurant for a quick lunch and was approached by an acquaintance he does not particularly like. The guy tries to sell him on his latest business venture and then out of the blue says,

"Hey, someone sent me some information about Obama being a Muslim..."

Before the guy, who obviously BELIEVES (or at least WANTS to believe) this gets any further into his anti-Obama diatribe, my husband cut him off and said,

"OMG, I've gotten that same email. Isn't it amazing that people are so gullible and STUPID that they pass that on without checking to see whether it is true? Then he mentioned SNOPES.COM and that he was just shocked that people wouldn't do some simple fact-checking before forwarding such a BS email and making themselves look like FOOLS.

Hubby said he just completely filibustered the conversation for the next few minutes and then got up and left. The guy was still sitting there with a dumb look on his face as he walked out the door.
