I'm moving to Wisconsin to do field organizing for the Obama campaign.

Well folks, I'm pulling up stakes for the next few months to move to Ashland, WI. I'll be spending the next few days packing and tying up loose ends before I drive from San Francisco out to Madison for training. I'm sure that I won't have as much time to chat with you all here, but I'll still be around in spirit. Call it a DU haunting if you will.

Anyway, I hope that the rest of you will work hard from wherever you are with whatever your particular talent is. I am positive that if we effectively utilize all of the passion, dedication and creativity that we have in this little virtual community that we can beat the GOP and turn the White House blue.

8. DUer ewagner used to be the bloody MAYOR of Ashland. He lives in Marshfield now.

You're gonna be about 150 miles north of me. Ashland is a very interesting little town. Check out Northland College in Ashland--it's a very green campus with a lot of environmental programs.
