Wes Clark nails it with his view of Right Wing Three Step
Edited on Tue Jul-22-08 08:28 PM by zulchzulu
On Dan Abrams' show (7/22/08), he made a very succinct assessment when he was questioned on his quote about McCain's service as a POW and how relevant it was to now being Commander in Chief. Out of memory, this was his assessment:

Step One: Complain about a quote, which is taken out of context

Step Two: Distort and completely lie about what the statement was

Step Three: Return fire and attack personally

2. Wait what happened to Wes Clark being banned from TV by Obama?
I saw lots of outrage about it on DU, so it must've happened.

5. Wes on TV
Wes Clark is under contract to MSNBC. There is nothing that Obama can do about that. I enjoy hearing what Gen. Clark has to say, and more power to him. He was never an Obama surrogate. The fateful morning on Face the Nation, Wes was told that the subject would be foreign affairs.

7. Clark got submarined
Good to see him taking the fire and shooting back at the RW Spin Machine!

Clarkies CRINGED seeing Wes meet with Kerry on stage right after Wes dropped out in 2004, saying,
"The Army is here! Permission to come aboard!"
But looking back I think Clark really liked Kerry and thought he was gonna make it
(Kerry DID win except for What Happened in Ohio)
I agree, Clark is NOT an Obama Surrogate, and after the Face the Bob "incident" I don't expect Clark to be out on the stump for Obama the same way he was for Kerry. (jmho)

Thanks for the "Wes was told that the subject would be foreign affairs" reminder, Donna Zen!

The good thing about Clark is that he does not only see through their bullshit. Others do that too. But he actually calls them on it and reveals their intentions instead of getting defensive.
