Message to right-wingers upset that the NYT won't print McCain's editorial....

So... are you FOR the Fairness Doctrine now or not?

If not.... tough.

McCain has no more "right" to equal time in the NYT than Obama has on ClearChannel stations carrying Rush.

2. You're forgetting about the Hypocritical Doctrine.
It states that only GOP, right wingers are entitled to equal time. Every one else is just liberal and doesn't have the same rights.

:sarcasm:

3. McLettuce's essay must have surpassed even the NYT's considerable tolerance
for empty drivel.

10. I know.... but the same principles apply. If McCain's wants his opinion 'in print'
he can find a friendly news outfit to do it.

He has no 'right' to the NYT editorial pages.

12. Like the NY Post
or the Washington Times, or, for that matter, the Boston Herald.

11. If Mccain had wanted his piece to appear in the NYT all he had to do was
Edited on Mon Jul-21-08 02:40 PM by Kdillard
actually fulfill the assignment and write an oped piece stating his plans for Iraq instead of a rehashed hit piece on Obama. The whining of the McCain camp is pathetic and embarassing. The NYT did nothing wrong except point out that he needed to state his own plans for Iraq. I don't understand why this is so hard for them to get.
