McCain was right: Obama has just landed in Afghanistan.
New York Times article:

If McCain couldn't keep his mouth shut about this, when security was so important, how can the man be trusted with State secrets?

5. Time to change his name
to McBlame if anything untoward should happen as result of opening his big mouth without engaging his brain.

15. Oh, I think his brain WAS engaged.
I think they're hoping something will happen. I think that's why they kept pestering him to "see the world". If something were to happen, my bet is that it'd be from somebody who was affiliated/supporting these criminals, since the whole world would rather see him at the helm instead of the dufus that's there.

9. We will have to wait.......
...and see if McCain's comments are afforded the broadcast media coverage that they would undeniably be given in a truly democratic country. They're not just irresponsible, they are deeply cruel and suggest a malicious streak beyond what was previously imaginable with McCain.

From the Washington Post Article:

The Afghans expressed a readiness to see the end of the Bush presidency. Obama's racial heritage also has drawn attention here.

"He's welcome to our war-torn city," said Habibullah Hamdard, a 42-year-old teacher. "If he has loved his children, he should love the Afghan children who are dying around the country every day. The white guy couldn't do anything, let's see what the black guy can do."

16. No he wasn't.
Americans and geography. Bah.

McCain: I believe Obama will be in Iraq over the weekend.

NYT: Obama lands in Afghanistan on Saturday.

In what sense is McCain right? In the sense, "Obama is overseas"? I thought we knew this already.

Please note: Iraq and Afghanistan are separated by Iran (the short way).

Let's hope it wasn't a fervent belief.

17. Perhaps Barack could switch up the order a little bit.
Talk to the Palestinians before he talks to Israel's leaders, or vice versa if this was already the case.

What a dick thing for Gramps to do.

Afganistan thought about McCain blabbing Obama's secret travel plans to the world. I'm guessing, as soldiers whose lives depend on secrecy, they didn't think too highly of it. McCain really is no better than Geraldo.
