Heh, it's going to be funny watching their responses during this trip...they are getting even increasingly more gimicky and childish about it! McCain actually does strike me as a pretty jealous person.

McCain camp teeing up Obama's overseas press pack

As Obama prepares to meet a swelled press pack overseas, the McCain camp is doing their part to prod those journalists into making sure the Democratic nominee is held to account.

If the newspaper stories and cable news chatter about the three network anchors going abroad for Obamamania weren't enough to guilt them, in other words, there is now a 16-page-plus document of potential questions and oppo to help the cause.

The packet is being sent to those reporters meeting Obama abroad.

Oh, and note the cover art -- Obama's short-lived seal.

1. anyone miss the days when the mentally ill were locked up and not allowed out in public?
nor where they allowed to run for president.

Call me whatever, but this election is a battle to save the middle class. I will talk poor of McSame's mental health, wife's drug issues, or whatever. This is serious. McSame is a crazy warmonger.

2. McCain: When's Obama going to Iraq?
Edited on Fri Jul-18-08 10:16 AM by high density
McCain: When's Obama going to Iraq?
McCain: When's Obama going to Iraq?
McCain: When's Obama going to Iraq?

Obama: I'm going to Iraq. The press is invited.

McCain: Why is Obama going to Iraq?
McCain: Why is Obama going to Iraq?
McCain: Why is Obama going to Iraq?

I'm glad we now have McCain's official talking points for Obama's trip. I doubt it will keep the press honest, but at least it will make everything all that more obvious. It also shows McCain's wonderful "character" that is full of hypocrisy (and rape jokes.)

3. I think they're secretly jublilant that Obama will be stealing
the spotlight for the next week or so. When McSame sticks his foot in his mouth, no one will be watching.

5. I think they know that the troops are turning on Republicans.
Something they can hide when a relatively low-profile person like Al Franken goes to Iraq, but with all the cameras following Obama it's going to be 3 days of nightmare PR for the GOP brand.
