Bush says those of use who can't afford to drive are prove that the market economy is working great. Price goes up and demand goes down. See the market works! Besides he is confident americans are capable of balancing their own checkbooks.

2. Tonight is the first time in a LONG time that I've seen a line at

the gas station. I'm in New Castle Co., DE. Shell was doing $3.84 w/ 5 cents off Thursdays. All pumps were lined up all day and they were getting another delivery of gas tonight. I picked up subs at a shop next door and they said they'd been watching the activity all day, including several accidents because people were taking up a lane on the road.

We tell our grand kids about prices like that around here LOL. Seriously though gas here is 4.30 today down from 4.68 a week ago.
