1. this whole lying swiftboat vets
thing has me believing i am no longer living on planet earth. the brazenness of awol supporters going after anyone who got even a hangnail in vietnam blows me away. maybe that's their whole idea - this is their shock and awe and by the time the masses wake up and see how shameless these swiftless jerks are, it's too late and the election will be over. this is truly amazing we're letting him get away with yet another audacious lie.

2. He is, he is, he is.
Sorry to sound frustrated, but there's too much "Kerry needs to" around here. He is talking about the issues, he is going after *, he is running an excellent campaign.

The problem is that most of the talking heads on TV are ignoring all of the REAL news to focus on this (not-so-)Swiftboaters garbage.

However, I give credit to Lou Dobbs on CNN. On Friday he had a segment about Kerry's outsourcing comments he made during a speech. Sadly, Lou is often a lone voice in a wilderness of laziness passing for journalism.

4. opening my big mouth to make a suggestion
Kerry needs something to the effect of:

In recent days the media and bush* administration has been focused on my military record. this has hurt me greatly on a personal level, but what it has done even more is to hurt the nation by distracting the American people from the real issues that impact their everyday life.

I, again, call on pResident bush* to denounce these ads and start focusing on what really matters - jobs, the economy, health care, education, foreign policy, the war on terror. These are the issues that matter to you - the American people.

pResident bush* recently held a Q&A town hall style meeting - well, I wasn't invited to it, but I do have a question or two for pResident bush*

Where are the jobs? 1.8 million jobs to date have been lost, most of them to outsourcing - What are you going to do to keep American jobs in America?

Where is the funding for No Child Left Behind? You made a big show of signing the bill - yet have failed to provide funds desperately needed to effectively enact this legistlation. To paraphrase a line from a movie - "SHOW US THE MONEY"

What are you going to do about health care for ALL Americans? Rising insurance rates are making quality health care something than only a few people will be able to afford.

You speak about family values. What about Valueing Families? All Families. All Families deserve more than rhetoric - what have you done that shows you value families and have compassion for each and every one of them?

:D just my 2-cents
