"I wish Obama was my Social Studies teacher"
These words were spoken by my 12 year old daughter last night. I asked her why and she said "he makes me want to think" and "he wouldn't be boring and would challenge me to do better".

We talked about his upcoming foreign policy trip and she said she knows he will be greeted enthusiastically by people in other countries. They will all want to see and hear him.

Smart girl my daughter. ;)

2. A President who makes people want to think. Imagine that.
For the sake of our children's education alone, Obama simply must win in November.

3. Yes - he is inspirational to young people.
I have a 16 year old daughter also and just about everyone she knows is excited about Obama. They aren't old enough to vote yet, but they will be someday.

7. Yes indeed.
Good for her! Sometimes adults overthink and second-guess things children know instinctively. :)
