Will you have a problem with that decision?

1. As long as she is qualified
Napolitano, Boxer, Sebelius would be perfectly acceptable to me. I know a few Clinton supporters who want different rules for male and female candidates, but I don't.

2. As long as she is qualified, and is NOT in The Senate. We need to keep all those seats.
Otherwise, I'd be shouting for an Obama / Boxer ticket.

3. Hillary Supporters would go rat-shit if Obama chose another woman over Hillary, they
couldn't care less about Bill being dead weight...

7. More importantly ...
I repeat ... It is a BIG hanging curveball over the middle of the plate for the MSM ...

Whatever bad blood it might generate with Hill supporters, the MSM will promote it as a thumb in Hillary's eye 100 times a day until the day of the election ...

The day it was announced, the headline won't be about Sebalis, it won't be about the historical matching of an African American/Woman on the ticket ... It will SCREAM "DID BO THUMB HILLARY IN THE EYE" ... EVERY time they mention the race from then until the day of the election it will be "despite" or "because" BO SPURNED Hillary in favor of another woman ..."

I have NOTHING against her ...

It just is RED MEAT for the MSM ...

8. What if...
Obama offers it to Hillary and she declines, recommending his actual pick in the process?

9. Lately, the MSM hasn't had the attention span of a fruit fly.
Obama selecting a woman other than Hillary would be a big story until the next celeb either gives birth, has an affair or forgets to wear panties.

4. My problem is a woman who adds something to the ticket besides just "being a woman"
Kathleen Sebelius is mentioned often, but I really don't see what she brings to the ticket. Janet Napolitano might help Arizona turn blue, but apparently there's a raving neocon lunatic waiting to take over the governor's mansion if that happens, so Arizona would hate all of us forever after that.

Hillary - too many negatives even BEFORE this campaign.

I'm not opposed to a female VP at all.... just can't think of any right now who really compliment this ticket.

13. Good post.
I don't see it happening, frankly. We have wonderfully talented women in the Dem party, but I don't see any of them bringing strength to the ticket.

Please. Let Hillary be a senator; Barack needs somebody who will support him as Veep.

I am thinking more and more of Al Gore.

6. Won't make a bit of difference to me
But my reasons for supporting Hillary never had a thing to do with her being a woman.

10. Amen!
I get so tired of the "Clinton is the only acceptable female VP, but any male VP is fine" crowd.

11. I've been really surprised that there are so many, even here on DU...
It just isn't a very democratic or progressive way of thinking in my opinion. :hide:

14. That's right! People forget that Biden would have been the first
major party candidate with hair plugs!
