I really liked that interview with the Obama family.
It was perfect. The kids were great, it was very casual and loose, and was warm and funny.

I hope they do more of these. I think that there are far more people that liked that type of "family" moment than the people who were saying they should not have done it.

1. I liked it when Sasha did that "yap, yap, yap" ...
teasing of her father. It was so incredibly cute!!!

2. Tape it for posterity, because the Obamas got so much flack
for doing an interview that they're done doing them. As that wizard Anderson Cooper said, why weren't the kids asked hard-hitting questions? :eyes:

5. Anderson is just bitter because he can't have any of his own.

6. Why? Did Jesse get to his nuts?

Being gay doesn't mean Anderson can't have kids of his own. His sperm still works, presumably.

9. Not Jesse, but there was an incident in Central Park with a tough squirrel.

3. I really liked it too.
I'm glad they did it, even if Obama got flack for it.

4. Me Too - Those Girls Are Adorable
I don't understand why he regretted the interview. Of course it would get played everywhere, Obama should have known that. I can understand why it would be their one and only, but don't get the regret???

10. I can't quote the source, I just heard a pundit say it...
...but apparently some nitwit on the air said that Malia was "too mature" for her age. Don't know what other negative comments were made, but that'd be enough to piss me off right there.

13. Well Then
Yes that's a snarky remark, I'd want to slap who ever said it. I don't care what the reasons are, none of their business. But it looks like it got some play at a few websites.

Here's the site that started it all I think - http://sandrarose.com/

8. Me too; they came off as a regular family. That's probably what pissed off
the Republicans.

11. It was nice, wasn't it?
Sadly, the yappity yaps in the media had to go and turn a sweet moment into shit.

12. My partner and I looked at each other and remarked
how comfortable Obama is with his family - and brave. He took a risk by putting his kids on camera unrehearsed, and they all came across as well behaved, curious and charming.

I'm glad he did this. It's ridiculous that there was any kind of media fallout from it.
