the very last winner....strike that....the last democrat i voted for...
that ACTUALLY GOT INTO THE WHITE HOUSE was Bill Clinton...

I was always a little disappointed in him from time to time...until I looked at the RWRepukes that controlled Congress for 6 of his 8 years and then I was always GLAD that he was President...

all I am trying to say is that Barack Obama will disappoint, too...but he has not lied (if one has taken the time and effort to research and read his positions) about his stand on the issues this nation faces...

and, most importantly...HE KNOWS HOW TO WIN!!

he has come from nowhere...those of us who claim to be 'critically disappointed' in him were unaware of his abilities until when??...a year or so ago...and don't tell me it was from his convention speech...

he has organized a program and an operation to achieve not only the White House, but some real changes in direction for this country...if he gets elected...

I think one thing the primary should have taught a lot of naysayers...he knows how to run a campaign...defeating Hillary was no small feat and definitely not an accident...and the farthest-left reaches of the democratic party are neither its base nor its strength...thank god, it is its conscience, which is what makes us all different than republicans...

This man HAS TO BE ELECTED...and I think he knows more about the actual way he has to conduct this campaign to achieve that goal that any 'quick-to-judge supporters' can acknowledge...

Keep him on his toes, bitch about his votes, shout, scream and holler...

but do not lose sight of what we are all trying to achieve...

if we can't get him in the White House our current 'concerns' will be of no matter.

1. Keep him on his toes is one thing--knocking him on his ass before the election is another. n/t

2. He's the best on offer
I'll be honest, I didn't side with Obama until it was only him and Hillary left and even then, it was a narrow choice. He's done and said a few things that annoy me and I don't doubt he'll piss me off royally before he's done but right now, only one thing matters: Is he better than McCain?
