One Obama idea I really love: Sunlight Before Signing

So I'm reading through Obama's entire "Blueprint for Change" for the first time, and it's compelling stuff. But one idea has really struck me. It's nothing huge or platform-defining, but it's just one of the small things about this candidate that I really like:

Sunlight Before Signing: Too often bills are rushed through Congress and to the president before the public
has the opportunity to review them. As president, Obama will not sign any non-emergency bill without
giving the American public an opportunity to review and comment on the White House website for five
days.

Just thought I'd point out this cool idea, especially with a lot of people saying that Obama isn't listening to his supporters for one reason or another.

6. Yes.he wants our voices, I believe this. He wants our input.

He's smart enough to know that among us there are wise insights, good ideas, valid concerns. He is a team player.

Think of all the bills the repukes were successful in sneaking past the public in the dead of night.

is going to be parsed into something approximating "meanings".

what bills are marching through Congress..

And let me tell you, if most Americans are as diligent and thourough as our DU family, little sneaky shit won't get through in those bills. Something the Republicans did with zeal.
