I have not watched or listened to any political coverage for three weeks
But I've seen this country go down the path it's been going down, and I don't feel the right momentum. I just look around me and I don't feel it and I don't see it. All I see is a stalemate. Until I feel the momentum, I just can't believe we'll be seeing Obama in the WH.

Where's the momentum?

I felt it within the Democratic Party when Obama beat Hillary. But I don't feel it in the country as a whole.

Sorry to be so depressed.

See ya in a few weeks maybe.

1. McCain still has brain damage. That is all you need to know. Make him talk
in front of a TV camera. The America voter will know what to do.

2. Because.. the newspeak only plays clips and is up to their old tricks..
No longer are we seeing great speaches in full context on winning primary nights.. no longer are hearing constantly Obama, Obama, Obama in a positive light... But the grumblings of unhappy people are still there. Those quite fears and grumblings and just "holding on" are those that will come full circle this fall. Just wait until after the DNC convention. Then full gear will kick in. We'll have the speaches and the debates and people will feel it again... Some are taking a bit of down time during the summer. School children are out of school; so, college students aren't in full frenzy vollunteer mode, and parents of younger children are dealing with summer recess and their antics.. (mine's scheduled back Aug 19th.. I've been on countdown since the first week after the break).

4. If the unthinkable happens and McCain wins in November...
I will officially absolutely give up on the American people.

6. If you want change you have to work for it.
Are you out working for Obama or are you sitting in the dark waiting for change to be delivered because my *utt is on the street working for Obama, my extra dollars are going to make this campaign a success. If we all just sit and wait for Obama at the WH we will be sitting a long time.

Sorry that you feel depressed. It gets to me too but I have decided to work as hard as I can until November and maybe after that if the decision is help up. If this election does not change the course of this country we will all have time to wallow in the sadness. Hope you are feeling better soon. Peace, Kim
