Could we just pause for a moment of shameless partisan cheering?
Goodness knows we're great at bashing our Democratic candidate -- how about cheering him for a change, for his willingness to FIGHT for this?

He's not running around with kneejerk defenses, he's thinking through each step.

He's not lying down or rolling over, he's fighting back at every level.

He and his team are strategizing, planning, saving their ammo for the greatest strategic effect, and using it to the max -- with a great balance of skill, smarts, and strength.

It's great to have the "most liberal Senator" as our man in the race.
It's great to have an man who cares about important issues as our candidate in the race.
But what's reeeeally great right now is to have a fighter as our guy in this race, because that's exactly what we need against this ever-growing machine of spin and slime. And we need to fight along with him!

So I'm cheering shamelessly and unapologetically -- Hurray for John Kerry for standing up and fighting this underhanded, lying, well-funded regime!!! I say "HURRAY!!!" Do I hear a second?

7. AND THEN
after they finish hanging this stinking albatross around Bush's neck, the next Kerry ad will come out...

"President Bush doesn't want to talk about health care, education, jobs, the environment, the war in Iraq or the war on terror. He doesn't want to talk about these issues because his record on these issues is simply terrible. Instead, he helps shady political groups create lies for commercials. That's all he has to run on. I want to talk about the issues in this campaign, about the problems that face every American. Please join me in working towards making this a better America. My name is John Kerry, and I approved this message."

13. That's Right
Every spurious SwiftLiar ad is further evidence that the Bush* campaign won't stand up to their record or the issues. It's a further reminder of the impending FEC investigation, evidence of this administration's dirty dealings. Go ahead and show the ads and let the evidence mount, Perry and Corsi and Spaeth and Rove!!

John Kerry is in this to win.

14. Funny thing...
I've been canvassing my precinct, and the ordinary good voting citizens of America I talked to were not fussing about the rapidity of the campaign's response to attacks, or fretting over the effectiveness of the latest ads or wringing their hands about strategy, they were saying "Kerry all the way!"

My precinct, btw, is generally about 60-40 Democratic, but in our canvassing so far, we are finding close to 90% support for Kerry.
