Survey USA: Virgina - Obama (49) McCain (47)
Looks like Webb gives Obama a 2 or 3 point bounce as well, if he's on the ticket.

1. Polling on potential tickets is pointless and almost entirely based on name recognition
McCain/Fiorina polls so poorly because outside of the business world and political junkies nobody has a clue who the fuck she is.

2. Looks like Kaine does well too. Glad they're finally including him.
Those numbers are weird though. It's always 44/49 with Webb on the ticket and 44/46 with Kaine on the ticket. Webb always has 9% undecided and with Kaine it varies.

Strange.

3. 25% of American Americans will vote for McCain!!!
Edited on Sun Jun-29-08 06:53 PM by dontforgetpoland
Of the 630 people surveyed, 18% were black and 25% of them said they are voting for McCain. In numbers that's is ~ 28 out of 113 of American Americans in this survey would vote for McCain. My guess is McCain supporters survey are screwing with the polling #.

Interesting VP numbers as well, I'm also surprise that if Tim Kaine was on the ticket it has very little impact overall.

5. Intersting
Neither Obama/Webb or Obama Kaine does very well. You'd think based on name recognition they give him a point or two, but they don't. His support is 49 without them and 49 with Webb and 46 with Kaine.
