Rahn Emanuel says if there were a gold medal for "flip-flopping"...
John McCain would win it going away. He is the flip-flop champion of all time.

Nobody says it but he flip-flopped on Iraq also. He likes to brag about how he was the first person to call for a "surge" of more troops in Iraq. Of course, what they don't say is that John McCain was one of the strongest supporters of the invasion in the first place. He had to flip-flop to get to his "surge" position. He never says that he was wrong in his support for the war - only that he was right in his support for the "surge"? That's a major flip-flop folks!

1. When I think of the surge and getting more troops
in there to protect not only our own people but the Iraqi citizenry.. I think of Joe Biden.. If you are going to do this..don't go half assed..you put millions of people at risk..think of what they did to shinsecki.. so McCain was late to the table on this one as far as I am concerned..protecting the Iraqi people from the people who flooded in afterwards ..

2. and the surge has not accomplished it's whole reason d'etre!
Which McCain conveniently leaves out. He has moved the goal post on the purpose of the surge, and the media fails to point that out.

McCain is a flip flopper extraodinaire, the the media is deliberately asleep in front of the computer on this. I know McCain is boring, but this is ridiculous!

3. remember that video of McCain from a couple of years back saying that we needed to
"deal with Hamas sooner or later", implying that we needed to engage them? God, he gets away from anything. Obama said all along that even though he would talk to our enemies, he wouldn't talk to hamas, while the GOP tries to pin lie after lie about Obama and hamas on the Democrats.
