WANTED:
those who have a distrust in leaving our upcoming elections in the hands of the corporate media and oftentime feel a helpless frustration with media treatment of issues and personalities.

To become part of a mobilizing force of "I have had it up to here with the media manipulating public opinion" folks who are willing to respond to media claims about Obama and John McCain and the various issues via emails to various sources.

DUers who enjoy writing....not a lot, but a little.

Those seeking to make a difference by adding their voices in an organized manner.

I and others will be providing sources and tools and a general sense of direction.

I could do.

At the same time, I'm hesitant, because...I can't advocate for something I don't believe. Another problem is that I don't watch corporate news anymore and tend to ignore or hide threads that are regurgitating. So, if I'm an appropriate person to do what you have in mind, I'm willing.

As an aside, I really thrill to "drive-bys", so for an occasional barb, I might be good. I also support Obama in a big picture way. Also, du has degenerated in the same way media has and because of that I approach a lot of advocacy, here, skeptically. I have to be sure about "agenda" in order to be 98%.
