One of my jobs on 'Hardball' is to cut through to the truth. Tonight on 'Hardball,' one of our guests pushed the idea that John Kerry had won his Purple Heart by deliberately shooting himself. The charge was without merit and baseless, as our guest under close questioning herself admitted.

Michelle (that horrible bitch), if not Tweety, knows what that means to the "average American." The S Boat Liars have been saying that the "self inflicted wounds" were a case of blow-back or some such incident; as in Kerry shot off his big gun and part of that firing came back and injured Kerry.

Malkin took what the S Boat Liars are saying to the logical conclusion. Tweety is playing dumb to ask if Kerry "shot himself;" as in he took out a gun and shot himself to get a medal.

Thorlow couldn't come up with any facts backing up his claim that Kerry had a sinister farseeing master plan to become President by orchestrating opportunities to phoney up silver stars, bronze stars, purple hearts, not only for himself but for those around him like Thurlow himself. Matthews made them sound like people on acid trips in full delirium.

While I still hate Chris Matthews, I have to give him credit for not being a complete sell-out.
