Seventy-five days to election...
Two months and two weeks. That's a lot of time for either Party to win or lose this election. There is no reason to panic or to prematurely rejoice. There are many battles still to be fought. However, we do know the opposition, or if you prefer, the "enemy". They will say or do anything to maintain power. Do you doubt that? What is the best strategy to counter such an opponent? That is our task at hand.

Do we simply talk about the issues that are important to the American people, such as healthcare, unemployment, outsourcing, etc, or do we take a different approach? Do we go tit-for-tat with Bush and Rove? Or should we, knowing ahead of time what the Repubs will do or are capable of doing, initiate an offensive of our own? If so, what course would it take?
