The "Maverick"
I've got MSNBC on in the background while I work at home, and I've noticed this morning two different shills for McCain pounding home the "Maverick" label.

oh make that three times, someone just said it as I was typing: "He represents the maverick approach".

This must be one of the talking points of the day.

They are trying to make it appear he is not BushIII...

"Maverick" was also the name of the Tom Cruise character in Top Gun... Maybe that's code for "Kook".

America loves "mavericks" as they constantly remind us, and since they have branded McCain as a "maverick", we can't be real 'muricans unless we love McCain.
