2. I like that website, but disagree with how they handle states within
the margin of error.

If a state shows the two candidates within the margin of error, it should be white and only go blue or red after one candidate has a lead outside the margin of error.

The states only go white on an exact tie - which is hardly a productive way to attack these kind of data.

The map has been moving increasingly blue though - at a rather good pace the last weeks time, so I figured this event was worth a post.

5. Ok, I should prob have posted it with some disclaimers :)
It was only meant to be a pointer to the fact that Obama is now polling over in Virginia. However minimal and inconsequential the lead might be.

538.com has been moving blue fast the last couple of days too though. And as far as I can tell, he is doing his best to make it the best possible projection and not just a snapshot.
(I don't understand half of it when he is explaining though. And I consider myself rather ok with numbers. :) ).

But in the end it is of course just educated guessing. :)
