John "Reverse Ace" McCain
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1571/is_11_16/ai_61361646

"John Sidney McCain III is known among many of his Vietnam flight buddies as "Ace" McCain. This title has not been bestowed upon McCain because he destroyed five enemy aircraft. On the contrary: It was five on our side -- in fact, five of his own."

"It wasn't long after arriving in Pensacola that McCain racked up the first of his five crashes, beginning in 1958, on his way to becoming a "reverse ace.""

Wow, I didn't realize even his own buddies joked about him being a "reverse ace". I understand that he is a 'war hero' because he was tortured, but I think that the media needs to stop pretending that this man is some type of military or even foreign policy genius just because of his Vietnam torture. I'm glad that Wesley Clark has the balls to call out McCain on this subject! :patriot:

3. Well, "reverse ass" really doesn't make much sense
and I have too much dignity to spend any more time trying to figure out a way for it to make sense.

7. Every time they call McLame a "war hero"
we should pipe up, "So is John Kerry. Next?"

The repukes deserve NO credit for this.

Also, military experience is meaningless. The President has to persuade and lead. Military leaders get unquestioned obedience. Soldiers can use force. The President has to be skilled in more subtle maneuvers.

9. Agreed!
McCain has no real military leadership experience. Fighting as a soldier is not the same thing as developing military strategy or a winning war plan.
