Bumper stickers on NPR...very telling.
Check this link for more, the slide show has the stickers and what I noticed were Obama stickers were actually on cars whereas Mcdumbass stickers were primarily still shots from whatever dumbass is trying to sell those things.

1. The numbers:
Shots of Obama bumpersticker on a car or person: 4
Shots of Obama bumpersticker only: 10
Shots of McCain bumpersticker on a car: 2
Shots of McCain bumpersticker only: 11

Perhaps your expectation influenced your impression, as there isn't much difference between the candidates here.

2. Those "honor" and "integrity" bumper stickers for McCain
will be a hard sell. Put them on your car and watch your neighbors laugh hysterically.

3. Not my neighbors
They think McCain is "doing the Lord's work" while "Osama Hussein" as they ceaselessly call Obama is ready to "surrender to the Muslims".

Life in Georgia...

4. Your mission is to wear them down - you have 5 months

Come and ask mine they have all given up. Even if they vote for McCain nobody dares bring it up. Its funny now I have so many of the old widows all trained that when it came up at a party last night a 'non-neighbor' didn't know enough to not bring up an Obama slur. When it came out - "he can't change anything - I don't trust him" all of the grandmothers jumped in - and one of them said "they should leave Michelle alone too". I didn't have to say a word. They are almost all Republicans but this is California and people are open minded here.

8. Could you give me one or two examples?
I'm serious. I think I'm all about humor but when the rubber meets the road and I'm face to face (heh) with a repub relative or neighbor who watches Fox and/or still supports the prezz, all my language skills go out the friggin' window. I just want to pop the mofo, right in the kisser.

That won't win me any converts, I know.
