Obvious Solution to the Zell Miller Problem
Moments before the turncoat gets ready to speak at the Republican Convention, the DNC should have a press conference ready where they formally announce that Zell has been ejected from the party.

12. Excellent! I hope they also put in the PR
the dollar amount of support this guy has been receiving (STEALING) from the Democratic party! By the way, who's paying Zell's expenses for this dog and pony show?

4. There is no mechanism for 'ejecting him from the party'.
I understand the sentiment, however. :)

7. Why can't he be ejected from teh conference?
Just because it's never been done, at least in recent memory, doesn't mean they can't strip him of his committee posts, etc. Let him wrangle with his good GOP friends for decent committee posts, while we put another Democrat in his chair.

The end.

13. I seriously doubt he is one of the 440 DNC members
If he were and they kicked him off, he would still be a democrat. I believe the only qualification to be a dem is registering as a dem in your home district.

6. No, no, let's have a ball with this
Let's use this ridiculous schlumpf to laugh and laugh and laugh at the pathetic republican party.

DNC is already starting. "Zig Zag Zell" -- I love it!

This is the best representative the GOP could get to nominate Bush? A washed-up, back-stabbing, butt-kissing opportunist like ol' Zell?

Hahahahahahaha!!!

Ladies and gentlemen of the voting public, may I direct your attention to the latest, living evidence that the Bush campaign has NOTHING to offer you but petty sniping and shop-worn slogans... cheap shots... and a desperate need to distract you from Bush's long list of failures and utter lack of accomplishments.

Oh, Zell. Stay healthy, keep safe. Can't wait to see you up on stage!
